Kerala coffee deserves to be recognised for the places it comes from and the people who grow it. Our founders came together around that belief: there is more to discover in these coffees, and more value to build with their producers.
Founded on , Kerala Origins is a joint initiative of Bermito Coffee Roasters, Terra Vagamon Conservancy, Silent Valley Estate and On Ground Farm. Roasting experience and producer knowledge meet around the same table.
Through practical support, open conversations and showcases in Kochi and Kozhikode, we connect growers with roasters, brewers and buyers. Our ambition is to bring Kerala coffee to wider audiences across India and internationally.

Bermito Coffee Roasters helped found Kerala Origins alongside three producer co-founders. Its contribution brings sample roasting, roast development and cupping to the shared work of understanding Kerala-grown coffees. Growers bring the knowledge of their farms; the roasting table opens another part of the conversation.
